Message/Comment : Our experience in Sikkim and West Bengal was very good. Tsozum Tours and Travels staff was very friendly, flexible and provided the best service in order to satisfy all our requests. The accommodation were excellent and the food always very good. We visited everything as penned and we had some extra sightseeing.

Being back from our tour to Sikkim and Bhutan, I would like to express our thanks to you for your excellent job you did to guide us through Sikkim. You did more to us than we expected, starting already with the train tickets delivered by special courier to our hotel in Calcutta. With this sprit, that nothing can go wrong, the whole tour organised by you and the selection of hotels was very good. You explained to us the utmost about your country, its culture and habits but led us also to local restaurants to experience how Indians eat. It was always safe and good. You tried to make us Buddhism understand, a difficult task. We very much appreciated your social aspects toward children, poor people and your link to the orphan you visit. Renate and I, we would like to thank you for receiving your message, telling us that you are fine and we hope, your whole family as well. Unfortunately I have been very busy after being back to Germany and back to work, so that it took me longer than expected to send you a reply for once again expressing our thanks to you for all you did during our common stay. Like Dieter and Ilse, we really enjoyed the nice time we had together and we appreciate that you have been showing us around, explaining us the unique landscape of that part of West Bengal and Sikkim we have been traveling through, with deeply cut valleys and high mountain ridges, beautifully sited villages, farm houses, rice pads or tea gardens, etc. It was a pleasure to follow your interesting explanations, we could almost say lectures about the botanical, geographical, ethnological particularities of your country. We enjoyed in particular also the many interesting discussions we had during our common traveling which showed us your deep understanding and tolerance and we are impressed about your generous gift to the orphenage at Gangtok which we thought originally as an expression of our personal gratitude and thanks to you and your family. We remind in particular the nice evening at Kalimpong with our common dinner in the garden of the hotel, including Dorji, who has so carefully and safely driven us the far distances, down the slopes and up the mountains through your beautiful country. Due to your help, our stay in Sikkim will be unforgettable for us. We are glad to have been meeting you, Tamding. You proved to be a real expert and an excellent guide and we learned from you a lot of about your country, about the Sikkim people, the historical development about the different beliefs, the religious festivities, the daily way of life and customs, and about the modern, present days economical achievements. It was also especially impressive for us to see the younger generation of smart kids in their school uniforms on their way to school in the morning or back home in the afternoon. Dear Tamding, many thanks again, and don?t forget that you will be welcome at Lörrach in the so-called three countries (German-French-Swiss) tripel point corner any time, if you have the possibility to visit our area in Europe.

Message/Comment : Dear Sir, I am writing you after reaching at my home, i.e. in Indore. I am sorry, I could not come at your office on the day before my departure from Gangtok due to some busyness. I tried to make a call on your cell-phone, but it could not be connected, why, I do not know! Anyway, It was a pleasent trip to Sikkim for us. I am thankful to you to make such a good arrangement of the trip, especially for the north Sikkim. Really it was a very wonderful and enjoyable tour. Message/Comment : Dear Mr.Tshering, During the second part of november we had the pleasure to enjoy the first part of our our holiday organised by your company. You asked us to give some feedback. I´ll do that now, drinking the tea from Sikkim you were so kindly to present to us. First of all, we enjoyed our stay in Sikkim. And your personal hospitality was beyond any criticism. We didn´t have a very good guidebook with us. The best we could find was the Trotterguide North India. The consequence was that we didn´t know so many details about Sikkim, the sights and their background. It would be helpfull to give informationsheets before a specific visit, like the one we bought at the Rumtek monastery. It gives more meaning ánd more pleasure. In general, for us a bit more rest - and maybe a bit less monasteries - would be ok. For example: Vistiting the Pemayangste monastery, the ruins of Rabdentse and some walking in the neighbourhoud is enough for a long morning ending with a picknick, followed in the afternoon with a visit to the Khechophairi lake with some hours hiking in the beautifull surroundings. Hiking is a very pleasant and effective way to feel the country and to make contact with the people. Many visitors like walking more than cardriving, so some hiking suggestions from each town would be welcomed. The small birding guide, you presented us, was very pleasant. Most of the people from Europe are interested in birds. And there are many species in Sikkim. So if there are enough copies in stock, the brochure is a welcomed addition to the information you present to your guests. Once again, thank you very much for the very pleasant way you organised and guided our holiday in Sikkim, and for your say goodbey present. We start our day with tea from Sikkim, still without butter. I hope this feedback is helpfull for you. To support your memory I will attach a picture of Karsje and yourself. Message/Comment : was asked by Mr.Bhutia to give a feedback of our experinece. As of now comming back from such a wonderful place on earth it was a memorable tour of my life and my family and friends who went with me. Icing on the cake was made by Mr. Bhutia by taking us to Yumasamdang ( 13,700 ft.), as we were dishearten on not seeing ice in Yumthang at the end of January.His network seems to be very strong as we were felt at home during such an off season at such a remote place like Lachung. We at any time didn't feel helpless as because our guide cum pilot Mr. jivan was always at our service. I surely will be visiting with Mr. Bhutia's travel desk to Gurudambhar Lake some time later this yr. at an appropriate season with my friends . Message/Comment : With 4 persons we had a tour through Sikkim from 31-10-2007 till 9-11-2007. We liked our driver Krishna en guide Bikash very much. Krishna drived very safe and we feld comfortable. Bikash explained everything very good and helped us very good to have a tour the way we liked it. He was very helpfull and understood what we wanted. We enjoyed our stay in Sikkim very much. The beautifull landscape overwelmed us. It was in the evening colder than we expected so it was very cold in our rooms en also in the diningrooms. But for the rest everything was OK and good organised. Many greetings from the Netherlands and thank you for a wonderfull time in your country.

Message/Comment : Thanks a lot for well organized trip. I have been writing this after a month because I was tied up with my busy schedules. Being back from our trip to Pelling, Gangtok and Darjeeling, we most liked the hospitality given by your staff Tashi, Mukthar, and Robin: please convey our sincere thanks to them. You did more to us than what we expected! We didn't know how our week's stay got over with in no time!! Sikkim is beautiful and rich in culture, Tashi provided us the details about the culture and religious practices and traditions of Sikkim. The choice of stay and food at Pelling was excellent though we were little bit disappointed with our stay in Darjeeling. I would attribute this to high season but my honest opinion was it could have been done little different. Me and my family would like to thank you again very much for all your efforts to make this tour an unforgettable one. We hope to utilize your services in future to visit Sikkim under your guidance. Message/Comment : Although it was rainy and foggy weather we liked travelling in Darjeeling and Sikkim. On of the reasons was we had a nice guide and driver. For Joseph and Mukthar it seems they enjoyed it as much as we did. Joseph knows a lot about the environment and about Buddhism. Mukthar is a good driver and he does not take unnecessary risks. Maybe we'll come back, but that in another period of the year ( when the orchids has flowers). They are a good team together. ---Lilian & Leendert

Message/Comment : Our trip to Sikkim was a very good experience not only the scenery, which was suprisingly green and beautiful, but also the crew, who were very pleasent. The accommodation we stayed in was very good, the staff of the hotels very nice. Ram and Anup, the two drivers are careful drivers. They take no risks and nobody of the group has felt unsafe from one moment ( although the roads along steep edges, were enough reason to fear). DK is young and lively and very enthusiastic. I enjoyed his guidance. For him it was maybe a little difficult in the beginning, because we all are much older. But then he did very well, for everybody. So, we are content, about our Sikkim experience! Thank you.

Message/Comment : do a briefing (breakfasttimes, departure times etc) at a time when the whole group is assembled. Be strict with times.
